Vision and Mission Statement

“Our vision is that as members of the St. James Catholic College community we recognise our personal dignity, our giftedness and the amazing possibilities that are ahead of us. As we adapt with resilience to the needs of this contemporary world, we will shine, reflecting the light of Jesus Christ."

We believe in:

  • the unique needs of each student;
  • the need to provide programs that are just, equitable and responsive;
  • the value of a caring relationship that fosters confidence, respect, dignity and rights.

We are proud of:

  • the Christian values that permeate the life of our Catholic school;
  • the level of staff commitment and professionalism that enables us to provide an excellent standard of education to meet contemporary needs.
  • the rapport with students and the wider community;
  • the involvement of our school community in works of justice and compassion, thereby, enlivening faith.
